About the clinic

Mary's clinics offer the education and safe opportunities to practice working through situations where horses may be fearful or resistant to strange objects. And boy does she have some weird ones! We all know a well seasoned horse is a joy to ride, but since no horse is bombproof, how do you get there? We work on it - learning about how to read the horse and apply the right supports at the right time. We will be working on the ground and in the saddle through a variety of challenges. We will work as a group, using the power of the herd and managing our own responses to stimuli.

  • Due to nature of this clinic, helmets are required for anyone under 18 and strongly encouraged for adults.
  • Saturday and Sunday, a light breakfast and lunch will be provided. Auditors must register by May 25 to get a lunch.
  • Weather permitting, we will be in the outdoor arena and might also work on the obstacle course.
